Famed Indian singer Sonu Nigam has performed a playback piece for ‘Salam Mumbai’ new installment titled ‘The Devil’s Daughter’.
This is second offering of Iran director Ghorban Mohammadpour following his smash hit ‘Salaam Mumbai’ casting Indian actress Dia Mirza and Iranian superstar Mohammad-Reza Golzar.
The latest joint cooperation between Iran cinema and Bollywood is still in development with Nigam singing for ‘The Devil’s Daughter’ as the most recent development.
The flick is the story of one of the Devil's children who wants to repent. The condition for his repentance is to prostrate to an innocent person. The Devil's daughter comes to the earth and looks for an innocent person.
The new Indo-Iranian film will have six songs on the soundtrack with five more to be recorded in the coming months.
Hamid Farokh-Nejad along with some Bollywood stars, including Jackie Shroff, will appear in the film.
